Quick Beef and Broccoli Ramen Stir Fry #shorts
Ingredients
- Beef1 lb
- Olive oil2 tbsp
- Broccoli1 lb
- Sesame seed2 tsp
- Ginger1 tsp
- Garlic2 tsp
- Soy sauce6 tbsp
- Brown sugar3 tbsp
- Cornstarch1 ½ tbsp
- Black pepper¼ tsp
- Sesame oil2 tbsp
Instructions
- Start the white rice first. Freeze the steak for 30 minutes, then thinly slice it against the grain.
- Combine all the stir fry sauce ingredients in a bowl and stir well to dissolve the sugar. Set aside.
- Heat a large skillet over medium heat with 1 Tbsp oil. Sauté the broccoli florets for 4-5 minutes, partially covered, stirring often, until bright green and crisp-tender. Remove from the pan. For softer broccoli, add 2 Tbsp water before covering so it steams.
- Raise the heat to high and add 1 Tbsp oil. Add the beef in a single layer and sauté 2 minutes per side, or until cooked through. Pull out one piece to test.
- Add the sauce and lower the heat to medium-low. Simmer 3-4 minutes until thickened. Return the broccoli and stir to combine. Add 1-2 Tbsp water to thin the sauce if desired. Serve over the rice.
