Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and grease a 9 x 13-inch baking dish or coat it with cooking spray.
  2. Mix the ground beef, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper and garlic by hand until just combined. Press the mixture evenly into the dish in a flat layer reaching the edges.
  3. Bake 15–18 minutes, until the meat is fully cooked and starting to brown at the edges. Pour off excess fat. Leave the oven on.
  4. Meanwhile, melt the butter in a small saucepan over medium-low heat. Add the garlic and cook 30–60 seconds, until fragrant. Off the heat, stir in the parsley, Parmesan, red pepper flakes and a small pinch of salt. Set aside at room temperature.
  5. Whisk the mayonnaise, lemon juice, mustard and grated garlic until smooth. Adjust lemon or garlic to taste. Refrigerate until needed.
  6. Slice the whole pack of rolls in half horizontally with a serrated knife. Place the bottom halves on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  7. Spread a thin layer of aioli on the bottom halves, then add the beef patty and cheese slices. Add the top halves cut-side down. Brush the tops generously with the garlic butter.
  8. Bake uncovered at 400°F for 5–7 minutes, until the tops are golden and toasted.
  9. Rest the sliders for 2–3 minutes, then cut into 12 individual sliders. Serve warm, with extra aioli on the side if you like.
