Rava Ladoo Recipe in 10 Minutes
Ingredients
- Ghee¼ cups
- Cashew2 tbsp
- Raisin2 tbsp
- Rava / suji2 cups
- Coconut1 cup
- Sugar1 ¾ cups
- Cardamom · powder½ tsp
Instructions
- Heat the ghee in a kadai, then roast the cashews and raisins until the nuts are golden brown. Set aside.
- In the same ghee over low heat, roast the rava until aromatic and slightly changed in colour.
- Add the desiccated coconut and roast until aromatic, taking care not to brown it.
- Move the roasted mixture to a large plate and let it cool slightly.
- In the kadai, combine the sugar and water and boil until it reaches one-string consistency.
- Add the roasted rava and coconut to the syrup and mix well.
- Cook only until the mixture just comes to a boil, since overcooking makes the ladoos hard.
- Transfer the mixture to a large plate and let it cool until moist and easy to shape.
- Add the roasted nuts and the cardamom powder and mix well.
- Shape into ladoos of your preferred size; if the mixture is dry, mix in milk, a little at a time.
