- Olive oil1 tbsp
- Butter2 tsp
- Salmon4
- Orange juice¼ cups
- Honey3 tbsp
- Soy sauce2 tbsp
- Garlic4 cloves
- Salt1 pinch
- Cracked pepper1 pinch
- Orange½
Instructions
- Heat the butter (or oil) in a pan over medium-high heat. Sear the salmon skin-side up for 3-4 minutes, then flip and sear for 2 minutes.
- Pour in the orange juice and reduce it to half the quantity, about 1 minute. Add the garlic and cook until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
- Move the salmon to the sides of the pan, add the honey and soy sauce, and stir to combine.
- Simmer until the sauce reduces to a syrup, about 30 seconds to 1 minute more, turning the salmon in the sauce to coat it evenly.
- Remove from the heat once the salmon is cooked to your liking. Season with salt and pepper to taste, and drizzle with the sauce to serve.
