Honey Garlic Pork Chops
Ingredients
- Pork chop4
- Salt1 pinch
- Pepper1 pinch
- Garlic powder1 tsp
- Olive oil2 tbsp
- Butter1 tbsp
- Garlic6 cloves
- Honey¼ cups
- Chicken broth¼ cups
- Rice wine vinegar2 tbsp
Instructions
- Preheat the broiler or grill to medium-high.
- Season the chops with salt, pepper and garlic powder.
- Heat the oil in a skillet over medium-high until hot. Sear the chops until golden on each side and cooked through, about 4-5 minutes per side. Transfer to a plate.
- Lower the heat to medium. Melt the butter in the same pan, scraping up the browned bits. Cook the garlic until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
- Add the honey, broth and vinegar. Raise the heat to medium-high and simmer, stirring now and then, for about 3-4 minutes until the sauce reduces and thickens slightly. If it thickens too much, add 1-2 tablespoons of water.
- Return the pork to the pan, spoon the sauce over generously, and broil or grill for 1-2 minutes until the edges are slightly charred.
- Garnish with parsley before serving.
