Honey Lime Garlic Butter Salmon
Ingredients
- Butter⅓ cups
- Honey¼ cups
- Garlic4 cloves
- Lime2
- Salmon2 ½ lb
- Salt
- Cracked pepper
- Parsley · chopped¼ cups
Instructions
- Set an oven rack in the middle and preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with a large sheet of foil, or two long overlapping sheets if the salmon is wide.
- In a small saucepan over low-medium heat, melt the butter. Add the honey, garlic and lime juice and whisk until the honey is fully blended into the butter.
- Place the salmon on the lined sheet and pour the honey-lime mixture evenly over it. Season with about 2 teaspoons of salt, cracked pepper and 2 tablespoons of parsley. Fold the foil edges up beside the fish to hold the sauce in.
- Bake for about 15-18 minutes, depending on the fish's thickness and how well done you like it. Then switch the oven to broil (or grill) on medium for 2-3 minutes to caramelise the top.
- Sprinkle the remaining parsley over the salmon and serve right away with fresh lime slices.
