One Pot Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo with Bacon
Ingredients
- Bacon8
- Chicken breast2
- Garlic4 cloves
- Salt2 tsp
- Pepper1 tsp
- Milk6 ½ cups
- Fettuccine pasta1 lb
- Broccoli1
- Parmesan cheese1 cup
Instructions
- Fry the chopped bacon in a large saucepan or pot over medium-high heat until crispy.
- Add the diced chicken and cook until cooked through. Add the minced garlic and fry until fragrant, about 2 minutes. Season with the salt and pepper.
- Pour in the milk and bring it to a gentle simmer. Reduce the heat right away and add the pasta.
- Stir occasionally for 5-6 minutes, until the pasta just begins to bend and soften. Add the broccoli, stir, and cover with a lid.
- Keep cooking, stirring occasionally, until the pasta is cooked and al dente, about another 7 minutes.
- Stir in the grated Parmesan until melted through the sauce. The sauce keeps thickening, so serve right away and add more milk if needed.
