- Pistachio · chopped2 tbsp
- Walnut · chopped2 tbsp
- Chironji1 tbsp
- Milk1 l
- Sugar½ cups
- Cardamom · powder½ tsp

Instructions
- Melt the ghee in a hot pan. Add the chopped almonds, pistachios and walnuts with the sliced dates (dried dates work too), and roast on low heat until golden brown.
- Add the full-fat milk, sugar and cardamom powder. Reduce the milk to 30–40% of its original amount; it will turn slightly brown as the dates release colour.
- In a separate hot pan, melt some ghee. Break the vermicelli in half and roast it on low heat until golden brown.
- Add the roasted vermicelli to the reduced milk, stir gently and give it a quick boil. It will absorb the milk.
- Add a few saffron strands if using, then serve.
