Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 450°F.
  2. Toss the potatoes with the oil and salt on a sheet pan, then add the water directly to the pan.
  3. Roast the potatoes for 30 minutes, stirring every 10–15 minutes to keep them from sticking.
  4. Push the potatoes to the side. Place the salmon fillet in one piece in the center of the pan, skin side down, and season it with 1/2 teaspoon salt.
  5. Mix the mayo and Dijon, then spread the mixture over the salmon.
  6. Bake the salmon for 6 minutes, then broil close to the top of the oven for 2–3 more minutes until it browns and flakes apart easily.
  7. Mix the melted butter, grated garlic and dill, then spoon it over the hot potatoes.
  8. Sprinkle the salmon with dill and red pepper flakes, squeeze lemon over everything, and flake the salmon into large chunks to serve with the potatoes.
