#shorts Air Fryer Jalapeño Corn and Cheese Samosas
Ingredients
- Bell pepper2 tbsp
- Jalapeño chili½
- Sweet corn · frozen¼ cups
- Cilantro1 tbsp
- Mozzarella cheese2 tbsp
- Cheddar cheese2 tbsp
- Chaat masala¼ tsp
- Cumin · ground¼ tsp
- Frozen Kawan parathas2
- Butter2 tbsp
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 350°F.
- In a medium bowl, mix the red pepper, corn, jalapeño and cilantro. Stir in the mozzarella, cheddar, chaat masala and ground cumin.
- Thaw 1 to 2 frozen parathas at a time, since they become too soft to handle if fully thawed. Keep the rest in the freezer.
- Unwrap one paratha, place it on a parchment-lined board and let it thaw for 2 minutes. Cut it in half with a pizza cutter.
- Fold one half into a triangle and press firmly along the straight edge, about ½ inch, to seal one side into a pocket.
- Spoon 2 tablespoons of filling into the pocket, leaving about ½ inch of dough free at the open edges. Press the open sides together to seal the samosa completely.
- Press the two sealed edges with a fork to seal further and decorate. Brush both sides lightly with melted butter.
- Repeat with the remaining parathas.
- Arrange 4 samosas in the air fryer with space between them (cook only 2 at a time in a smaller air fryer). Air fry at 350°F for 12 minutes.
- If needed, brush with more butter and cook for 1 to 2 more minutes. Remove with silicone tongs and serve hot.
