Spanish Apple Cinnamon Fritters
Ingredientes
- Sunflower oil⅓ xícara
- Flour½ xícara
- Baking powder1 colher de chá
- Sugar6 colheres de sopa
- Cinnamon · powder1 colher de chá
- Salt¼ colher de chá
- Egg1
- Milk⅓ xícara
- Lemon½
- Apple1
Modo de preparo
- Heat a large frying pan over medium heat and add the sunflower oil.
- While the oil heats, put the flour, baking powder, sugar, cinnamon and sea salt in a large bowl and mix. Make a well in the middle, crack in the egg and whisk it, then add the milk and whisk until smooth.
- Peel and core the apple, cut it into small pieces and add them to the batter with the zest of half a lemon. Mix well. If the batter is too thin, add more flour.
- When the oil is hot (about 10 minutes), drop spoonfuls of batter into the pan in a single layer, evenly spaced. Fry in batches for 2 minutes per side, or until golden, then move them to a dish lined with paper towels.
- Put the 1/4 cup (50 g) of sugar in a shallow bowl and lightly coat each fritter. Serve warm or at room temperature.
