Spicy mayo, melted cheese, oh sooo good! This vegan salmon bowl is Truly Yum!
Ingredientes
- Cooked grains of choice
- Tofu14 oz
- Molho shoyu3 colheres de sopa
- Dashi · powder¼ colher de chá
- Alga nori1
- Mirin3 colheres de sopa
- Kombu · powder⅓ xícara
- Maple syrup1 colher de sopa
- Sugar½ colher de chá
- Maionese3 colheres de sopa
- Hot sauce1 colher de sopa
- Cheese
- Scallion
- Furikake
- Spicy mayonnaise
Modo de preparo
- Drain the tofu, pat it dry with a towel and slice it into 3 rectangular slabs.
- In a pan large enough for all the tofu, mix 1 tablespoon soy sauce with the kelp powder. Coat the tofu in this marinade, rubbing it onto the surface, and leave for 15 minutes.
- In a bowl, stir together the mirin, the hot kelp water, 2 tablespoons soy sauce, the maple syrup and the sugar to make the sauce.
- Mix the vegan mayo with the chili sauce until smooth to make the spicy mayo.
- Heat a large non-stick skillet over medium heat and add about 1 tablespoon oil. Carefully place the marinated tofu in the hot pan, in batches if needed.
- Pan-fry until the large side of the tofu is golden brown. Add 2-3 spoonfuls of the sauce and gently move the tofu around so it coats in the sauce.
- Place a nori strip on a plate, set a cooked tofu slab on top and fold the nori around it.
- Put the cooked rice in a bowl and sprinkle with furikake. Top with the tofu, drizzle with spicy mayo, add a handful of vegan cheese and melt it with a hand torch. Garnish with chopped scallions and serve warm.
