Spicy Tuna Rolls
Ingredients
- Rice240 g
- Nori seaweed1
- Sesame seed · roasted4 tsp
- Tuna120 g
- Sriracha sauce2 tsp
- Scallion1 tbsp
- Water mixed with 1 tablespoon of vinegar1 cup
Instructions
- Mix the spicy tuna ingredients in a bowl.
- Place a sheet of nori on a rolling mat. Wet your hands with the vinegar water, take half the rice and shape it into an oval ball.
- Spread the rice over the nori, covering it evenly, without pressing too hard. Sprinkle sesame seeds over the rice.
- Flip the sheet so the nori faces up, with the edge nearest you. Place half the spicy tuna in the middle.
- Lift the mat edge, hold the filling firmly with your fingers and roll away from you until the mat covers the roll. Keep the mat itself out of the rice.
- Press the roll gently but firmly, then rotate it about 90 degrees with the mat and press again. Unroll the mat.
- Place the roll seam side down. Wipe a sharp knife with a wet towel before each cut.
- Cut the roll in half, then cut each half in half, then cut each piece in half again to make 8 pieces. Serve with soy sauce.
