Spooky Chocolate Apple Pops

Spooky Chocolate Apple Pops

By Tasty · 20 min

Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Cut each chocolate cookie stick into 8 even pieces. Press 2 pieces into each side of the mini chocolate sandwich cookies to make the spiders.
  2. Cut each apple through the top into 4 thick round slices and remove the seeds. Push a lollipop stick into the base of each slice.
  3. Microwave the chocolate melts in a medium microwave-safe bowl for 1 minute, stirring every 30 seconds, until melted and smooth.
  4. Dip each apple pop into the melted chocolate to coat it fully, letting excess drip back into the bowl. Set the pops on a silicone mat or parchment paper and refrigerate for 5 minutes, until the chocolate is set.
  5. Microwave the marshmallows in a separate microwave-safe bowl for 30 seconds, then stir. Let them sit for 10 to 20 seconds, until cool enough to handle safely.
  6. Working quickly, pull up a little melted marshmallow with your fingertips, stretch it into a web, and lay it over an apple pop. Add more layers until you get the look you want, then repeat with the remaining pops.
  7. Set one spider on each pop. The pops keep for a few hours at room temperature until serving.
