- Mochiko90 g
- Sugar70 g
- Milk powder2 colheres de sopa
- Sweetened condensed milk3 colheres de sopa
- Milk¾ xícara

Modo de preparo
- Wash and dry the strawberries thoroughly with paper towels. Remove the leafy ring but keep the core, then trim any remaining stem with kitchen shears.
- Flatten 1 tablespoon of the sweet red bean paste into a disk with your fingers. Set a strawberry in the center tip-up and press the paste up the sides, leaving the tip exposed. Repeat with the rest, then cover and set aside.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, whisk together the mochiko, evaporated cane sugar and milk powder.
- Add the sweetened condensed milk and about a third of the whole milk, and whisk into a smooth paste. Whisk in the remaining milk until smooth and free of lumps.
- Microwave at 600 watts for 2 1/2 minutes.
- Whisk, breaking up large lumps (a few small ones are fine). Microwave at 600 watts for another 3 1/2 minutes.
- Knead with a stiff silicone spatula until smooth and elastic.
- Transfer to plastic wrap, shape into a square, unwrap and dust generously with potato starch. Cut into 9 even pieces.
- Roll one piece to about 3 inches in diameter with a small rolling pin and rest it in your palm.
- Place a bean-paste-covered strawberry in the center tip-down. Stretch the mochi edges up over it and pinch them closed, working around to seal.
- Roll gently between your hands into a round shape. Repeat the last two steps with the remaining strawberries.
