Ingredients
- Butter · softened½ cups
- Brown sugar½ cups
- Sugar¼ cups
- Egg1
- Vanilla1 tsp
- Flour1 ¼ cups
- Baking soda¾ tsp
- Salt½ tsp
- Strawberry · dried½–¾ cups
- Chocolate chip½ cups
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Beat the butter and both sugars until creamy.
- Mix in the egg and vanilla until just combined.
- Add the flour, baking soda and salt and mix until just combined.
- Fold in the white chocolate chips. Gently crush the freeze-dried strawberries by hand into small chunks, not powder, and fold them into the dough.
- Roll the dough into 9–12 balls and bake on a parchment-lined baking sheet for 9–11 minutes, depending on size. Bake in two batches if needed.
- The cookies will look puffed at 9–10 minutes. Let them rest a few minutes so they sink and firm up.
