The 2 Ingredient Ice Cream Bread That Actually Works
Ingredients
- Vanilla2 cups + 1 tsp + 1 tsp
- Self rising flour1 cup
- Cake sprinkles2 tbsp
- Sugar1 cup
- Milk1–2 tbsp
- Ice cream · softened2 cups
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C). Butter and line a 9 x 5-inch (23 x 13 cm) loaf pan.
- Stir the softened ice cream in a large bowl until it has the texture of soft serve.
- Add the self-rising flour and 2 tablespoons of sprinkles, mixing gently so as not to overmix.
- Pour the batter into the pan, flatten it with a spatula, and score a shallow line lengthwise down the centre with a knife.
- Bake for 45 to 50 minutes, until a toothpick inserted in the centre comes out clean.
- Cool in the pan on a wire rack for 5 minutes, then remove from the pan and cool completely on a rack.
- Whisk the powdered sugar, milk and vanilla (optional) until smooth. Pour over the cooled cake so it drips down the sides, then sprinkle with the remaining 1 tablespoon of sprinkles.
