The Salmon Recipe for Grill Season #shorts
Ingredients
- Butter½ cups
- Garlic4 cloves
- Lime2 tbsp
- Dill2 tbsp
- Salt1 tsp
- Black pepper¼ tsp
- Salmon2 lb
Instructions
- Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Add the smashed garlic, 1 tsp salt and 1/4 tsp pepper, and simmer for 1 minute or until fragrant.
- Stir in the chopped dill and 2 Tbsp lime juice, then remove from the heat straight away.
- Lay the salmon on a platter skin-side down, spoon over one third of the butter sauce and brush it over the tops. Let it marinate while the grill heats.
- Preheat the grill to medium, 350°F to 400°F, and oil the hot grates.
- Place the salmon skin-side up on the grill, cover and cook undisturbed over medium heat (350°F) for about 3 minutes.
- Carefully flip the salmon, brush with another third of the sauce, cover and cook for another 2 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 140°F.
- Move the salmon to a platter and drizzle with the remaining sauce, rewarming it briefly if it has set. Garnish with dill and serve with lime wedges.
