Thecha Paneer (Spicy Green Chilli Garlic Paneer Bites)
Ingredients
- Thecha¼–½ cups
- Paneer6 oz
- Salt½ tsp
- Lemon2 tsp
- Oil1 tbsp
- Cilantro1 tbsp
Instructions
- Pulse the thecha in a food processor until finer and more even. Transfer to a bowl and stir in the lemon juice.
- If using store-bought paneer, sprinkle it with salt and soak the cut pieces in hot water for 10 minutes to soften. Drain and pat dry.
- Spread a little thecha on each piece, pressing lightly with your fingertips so it sticks. Coat the other sides too, until each piece has a thin layer. The narrow edges will hold less, which is fine.
- Heat the oil in a nonstick pan over medium heat. Lay the paneer in a single layer.
- Cook 2–3 minutes per side, until both sides are lightly golden brown.
